Is Obama the antichrist?

A pastor in Texas recently told his congregation that the re-election of Obama (not his real name) would pave the way for the reign of the antichrist. You can read about it @

It is my belief that he is closer to what Muslims call al-Masih ad-Dajjal (Arabic: المسيح الدجّال‎ al-Masīḥ ad-Dajjāl, Arabic for "the false messiah"). Did he not promise Muslims wonderful things? And what has he given them? Death, destruction, and more wars. That sounds like a "false messiah" to me. What does it sound like to you?

I therefore believe that his real name is Obama ad-Dajjal, the false messiah. Say it a few times, and you'll see how it naturally rolls off the tongue as if it was meant to be: Obama ad-Dajjal ... Obama ad-Dajjal ... Obama ad-Dajjal.

The figure known as al-Masih ad-Dajjal is not equivalent to the antichrist. It would be more accurate to say that the antichrist of Christian belief is more or less equivalent (in what he is expected to do) to the Mahdi (Arabic: مهدي‎ / ISO 233: mahdī / English: Guided One), who is the prophesied redeemer of Islam.

Anyone who believes that Obama ad-Dajjal is the redeemer of Islam must know a different Obama than I do. He may at some time become the antichrist (the job is still available as far as we know), but that is not his true nature. His true nature is to be a false messiah, for both Muslims and Christians, both spiritually and politically.

And by the way, this is not the first time that a figure like al-Masih ad-Dajjal has appeared in America. The brother of Tecumseh, whose name was Tenskwatawa, was known as "The Shawnee Prophet". The defeat of this false prophet played a role in the election of William Henry Harrison as President of the United States.

One very interesting thing about Tenskwatawa is that like al-Masih ad-Dajjal, he was blind in his right eye. We know that America's Founders were aware of Islam (didn't Thomas Jefferson have a Koran?), so it's possible that symbolically Harrison was fighting the equivalent of al-Mahdi and al-Masih ad-Dajjal in his struggles and ultimate victories against Tecumseh and Tenskwatawa.

Does Obama ad-Dajjal have a blind eye? Symbolically, yes; clearly, he has turned a blind eye toward the suffering of Muslims and many others around the world.

Also interestingly, there is another man America is fighting who has this "blind eye" characteristic: like Tenskwatawa, Mullah Omar is blind in his right eye. It's ironic that a man who physically fits the description of al-Masih ad-Dajjal (Mullah Omar) is considered a redeemer by his people, while a man who philosophically fits the description (Obama ad-Dajjal) is now considered a false prophet by people around the world, including many in his own country.

What can you do about it? Nothing in a physical or political sense. These people are in charge of the world, and they cannot be defeated in any physical or political battle; and frankly as deceived as Americans are these days we would not even know where to start.

But I do recommend that you follow the advice which was given to the Ephesians by Saint Paul:

10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;
15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints.
