Our Second Civil War Is Over

The final battle of Civil War 2.0 is over, and it was relatively bloodless. Only five people died.

Contrast that with the number of casualties from some battles of our first Civil War:

Putting this in a larger context, here are the number of people who died in the major wars related to the creation and preservation of the US republic:

Considering all the blood and treasure we have squandered in the last 246 years, don't you find it odd that "our" cowardly Congress just flushed all that sacrifice down the toilet because of one of the most pitiful "insurrections" in world history ... one which wouldn't even qualify as a "mostly peaceful protest" in Portland, Oregon?

Seems very strange to me.

What do YOU think?
