Apparently a UK judge has blocked the extradition of Julian Assange to the US:

I guess it's safer to keep him imprisoned in the UK, where he can be locked up indefinitely without a trial and with no risk of him "escaping" via suicide.
Sheesh !!! How is this outcome any better?
