Becoming Belters ???

According to this report, millions of us will be moving to the asteroid belt within the next 15 years:

These guys must have been binging on The Expanse tv series, which by the way is my favorite program these days.

One thing never fully discussed is how millions of people living in the equivalent of a tin can will be able to produce breathable air; obtain enough food and water to survive; and/or have the means to travel between the belt, Earth, and Mars. Yeah, we're progressing by leaps and bounds, but in 15 years? I don't see it, especially not with the crap Biden and Co. plan to do down here on Earth.

What we're more likely to see is a few rich guys taking vacations on the ISS, mostly at the expense of us poor slobs trapped down here in the mud. Here's the latest batch of lucky bastards who soon will be blasting off:

The real missions to the belt will conduct asteroid mining, mostly by remote robotic means. And the goal will NOT be to ferry millions of us to belter nirvana but to make a handful of people EXTREMELY rich.

Just what we need, right?

But hey, a recent study has shown that elites are in a class of their own. Apparently they're better than us and presumably deserving of the wealth they've been squeezing out of us for decades:

I guess we should thank them for shitting on us.
