Thankfully, the author limited himself to "political" dystopias, but I think it's far more likely we will see a financial upheaval, possibly even hyperinflation.

Not only is such an audit WAY overdue, it's even more essential now that central banks are making policy decisions which will have powerful influences on what governments will do:
NO WAY should the Fed be pushing us into a Green Future (or any other option). That's the kind of choice which should be left up to free markets and/or democratically elected governments (should such an entity still exist on this planet).
