Alphabet/Google wants to restore wireless service to Puerto Rico using balloons. You can read about it here:

Not mentioned in the report is the fact that most of the island is still without electricity. If they cannot charge their cell phone batteries, what good will the balloons be?
The real "benefit" here is to Alphabet, which will control the island's wireless service when the crisis is over.
Beware of Trojans (or Googlers) bearing gifts.
