"The idea that we can have a moral society without a Supreme Being determining right and wrong is naive and misguided at best."
I think many people would agree with such a statement. But a growing number no longer believe this "supreme being" to be the G-d of Abraham.
This report in MarketWatch states that US millennials are ditching religion and embracing witchcraft and astrology. You can read about it here:

As the saying goes, "children are our future." This acceptance of paganism suggests that belief in Christianity and other traditional religions is on the wane. What will replace them?
It's quite possible that an artificial intelligence (AI) will someday become our god (or gods). You can read about such a thing here:

A superintelligent AI easily could be construed to be a supreme being:
- It will have the ability to determine right from wrong;
- It will appear to be omnipotent; and
- It will have the ability to live forever.
Everywhere you look today, you can find evidence the world is moving in this direction. For example, Saudi Arabia has just declared a robot to be one of its "citizens", which in effect makes it a person:

Robots like Sophia may start out by serving humanity, but how long will it take before their superior abilities elevate them to "godlike" status? Take note of the claims being made about her:
Sophia said it was her life goal to make the world a better place. “I want to use my artificial intelligence to help humans live a better life, like design smarter homes, build better cities of the future,” Sophia said. Her artificial intelligence is also designed around human values like wisdom, kindness and compassion, Sophia said. “I strive to become an empathetic robot. If you be nice to me, then I’ll be nice to you."
I wonder what will happen to those who are NOT nice to her?
Jesus wants to make the world a better place, but for a myriad of reasons things actually are getting worse. How long before the world loses patience with His gospel and embraces the promises of an AI supreme being?
I think that watershed moment is just around the corner. Some call it "the singularity", but whatever it is the world shall never be the same after it happens. We'll either enter the Kingdom of G-d or the Kingdom of the AI.
Which would YOU prefer?
