As you may know, the US President already has the authority to implement widespread measures to ensure continuity of operations, continuity of government, and other aspects of national essential functions in the event of a "catastrophic emergency". Such an emergency is defined as "any incident, regardless of location, that results in extraordinary levels of mass casualties, damage, or disruption severely affecting the U.S. population, infrastructure, environment, economy, or government functions." Quite clearly, COVID-19 and its impact fall within this definition of emergency.
So why the hell isn't anyone implementing these measures NOW ??? Are we going to wait until extraordinary mass casualties and disruption are upon us? Hell, we turned the world upside down and squandered trillion$ in the wake of 9/11, and that event involved a mere fraction of the casualties and disruption which now are expected from COVID-19.
When this clown show gets handed over to the next President (and it won't be that moron Biden or the "socialist" Sanders), we're going to get a DICTATOR. And you can bet whatever is left of your prepper supplies that Hillary Clinton is just drooling at the prospect of wielding all that power.
To paraphrase Eleanor Shaw Iselin from The Manchurian Candidate, COVID-19 will sweep Hillary up into the White House "with powers that will make martial law seem like anarchy!"
G-d help us when that happens !!! And it almost certainly will.
