A Business Friendly Taliban

Here is a great assessment of what the US is really doing in Afghanistan - making it safe for "our" corporations to plunder the region's wealth:

In case you forgot, this is how the US destroyed the power of native American tribes as a precursor to the takeover of the continent - establish a new ruling class and get them to authorize "peace treaties" and business deals favorable to the white devils. It worked then, and apparently it's going to work now.

And all you who have been supporting US (sic) corporations, don't you realize this is exactly what they have done to you? You gave them your life, and in return they took it along with everything else you had.

By the way, Bernie Sanders says that real socialism has never been tried:

Well, Bernie and all the rest of you doubters, it has been tried - by the early Christian church - and it worked:

32 And the multitude of them that believed were of one heart and of one soul: neither said any of them that ought of the things which he possessed was his own; but they had all things common.
33 And with great power gave the apostles witness of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus: and great grace was upon them all.
34 Neither was there any among them that lacked: for as many as were possessors of lands or houses sold them, and brought the prices of the things that were sold,
35 And laid them down at the apostles' feet: and distribution was made unto every man according as he had need.
Acts 4:32-35 KJV

And I would argue that a version of it was lived by the original native American tribes, and it also worked ... until the white devils showed up to plunder the New World.

What few people seem to realize is that the powers that be (e.g., Rome, the USA, Satan, etc.) will ALWAYS sneak into the Garden of Eden and destroy it. Do charity and love fail because of the wickedness of the many ... or of the few? Are we really so collectively wicked that we don't want to help our fellow human beings?

  1. Also by the way, the whole idea of "social capital" is a form of socialism and it's one which appears to be taking the world by storm. Here is a brief discussion:

The new disposition of things is upon us, and the sooner we get with the program, the better. Welcome to The Long Emergency and its aftermath, a world made by hand. Expect that a lot of things crashing, grinding to a halt, and falling to pieces will not get patched back together and restarted. When the dust settles from all that, we’ll discover one of the primary conditions of the new era: we’re poorer — a lot of what we took to be money, or things that represented money, were figments. “Money” itself, as manifested in currencies, may become a slippery concept, with low credibility. If that’s the case, people ought to ask themselves: how can I be useful or helpful to the others around me in a way that will raise my own social capital and accumulate, at least, the good will of these other people, and perhaps some of their help or service in return for mine? That is the beginning of building a local community — people bound together by mutual obligations, responsibilities, duties, and rewards.
