The Crime Du Jour

The following people at one crime or another have been accused of sex crimes:

• Scott Ritter
• Julian Assange
• Brett Kavanaugh
• Cody Wilson
• unnamed employee(s) at the Sunspot Solar Observatory

(If you've never heard of these people, you can read about them on the Internet.)

Can it be just a coincidence that such "inconvenient" people keep getting charged with sex crimes? After all, such a thing is the kiss of death even if it never goes to trial.

What's up with that?
