Sometime between 2020-2025, every Chinese will have a home, a job, plenty of food, education, safe streets, health and old age care. On that day there will be more homeless, poor, hungry and imprisoned people in America than in China and 450,000,000 urban Chinese will have higher net worth and more disposable income than the average American. Their mothers and infants will be less likely than ours to die in childbirth, their children will graduate from high school three years ahead of – and outlive – ours. If China wins the trade war and the world’s hearts and minds, it’s pretty much game over, almost by default.

By the way, the powers that be (TPTB) are whining NOT about this reality but about who assaulted whom in high school. Don't we have more important things to worry about?
If I didn't know any better, I would say TPTB really don't care what happens to this country as long as their power and privilege remains more or less intact.
