Seldom do we hear discussions about the cost of saving individual lives, but in a world with limited resources for a huge population of those in need the subject must eventually come up and be addressed.
In some parts of the world, it needs to be addressed now. How much are we willing to pay? The answer depends on whether you are the patient or the taxpayer footing the bill.
My suggestion? Give everyone "the cure" which is outlined in the following post. If it works, great! If it doesn't, then let's put intense pressure on the medical/scientific community to come up with something else which works AND is affordable:
