I somewhat agree, but I would expand this definition in a manner similar to President Eisenhower's warning about the military-industrial complex.
Our greatest enemy is IT, the Internet, and everything the data mining and surveillance companies are trying to do. Their accomplices are the so-called MSM, Hollywood, and most "entertainment" producers; including the makers of porn, video games, and violent movies and TV shows. Alone and in concert they are fundamentally changing the way we think, the way we act, and the morality (or the lack thereof) by which we live. They decide what is right and what is wrong, and they relentlessly attack anyone who disagrees with their decisions on such matters.
Unfortunately, we cannot even communicate with each other without going through channels created and controlled by this enemy. For that reason, it's unlikely we ever shall be able to escape their grasp.
