You may recall the recent cold snap which caused a shutdown of much of the power grid in Texas. Some blamed it on the failure of "green" energy sources, but the mainstream more or less trashed that idea.
Well here is a report about trends in Germany, where they are going green just as fast as they can:
I suggest watching them as a "canary in the coal mine" for what is likely to happen in the US. If the well-educated and efficient Germans cannot manage to complete a green transition without horrible growing pains, it's likely we dumbass, incompetent Americans won't do very well either.
Just saying.
Oh, I almost forgot ... the Chinese get to do whatever they want, including burning more coal than the rest of us. I expect them to just laugh when our lights go out ... and why shouldn't they? We're proving ourselves to be the dumbest dumbasses on the planet.
