Oregon vs. Afghanistan

I'm sure by now you have heard of the shooting in Oregon:

The man who gunned down nine people at an Oregon community college was enrolled in the class where the fatal shootings occurred, Douglas County Sheriff John Hanlin said Friday.

Shortly thereafter, this occurred in Afghanistan:

Aerial bombardments hit a Doctors Without Borders hospital in the battleground Afghan city of Kunduz early Saturday, killing at least 16 people, including nine staffers and seven patients, the charity said.

Three of those patients were children. The circumstances weren't immediately clear, but the U.S. military conducted an airstrike in Kunduz at the time, and the incident is being investigated, U.S. Army Col. Brian Tibus said.

In the former circumstance, the victims are all identified, praised, and eulogized. Oh, what compassion we have for them! And the demands for changes to our gun laws will be deafening.

In the latter circumstance, we're going to let the US military investigate itself. The victims will remain nameless (at least in the US), the rules of engagement may be changed, apologies may be rendered, but the collateral murders will go on and on and on.

Both of these massacres were senseless, and the common thread is they were "made in America".

The US Constitution arms the citizens and authorizes Congress to wage war. It does NOT allow anyone to do the kind of senseless slaughters that Americans and their government are doing at home and around the world.

We may indeed need stronger "gun safety laws", but we also need stronger "rein in Obama ad-Dajjal, the CIA, and the military laws".
