Although it may not seem the same, does this not remind you of how al-Qaeda was OK as long as they helped the US in Afghanistan but became "evil" when they allegedly decided to attack us on 9/11?
In my view, ALL VIOLENCE IS BAD, and anyone who promotes it is a hypocrite (or worse). We will never achieve peace by supplying weapons and killers willy-nilly to destroy everyone we don't like.
