According to this report, obesity costs more than terrorism and war:

Yet ... in the US we are excusing obesity and affirming it as an acceptable way of life.
Which begs the question: if we're going to bomb ISIS, why aren't we bombing fat people too?

The contrast is no more evident than in Afghanistan, where our enemies are literally skin-and-bones scarecrows while our troops are porkers in comparison. Maybe if we bulked them up (the Taliban) it would slow them down so we could "win" that war.
Nah, we'd rather starve and bomb them. It's the American way.
