The undertone of this situation is that until Israel and the US began their expansionist policies, in most countries Jews, Christians, and Muslims lived together in peace. The global reach of jihadist terror did not materialize until the US made it so.
Ultimately, the responsibility for this persecution lies at the feet of the United States of America. And this should be no surprise coming from a country populated in part by people who literally worship Satan:
