Why did the police killing of Michael Brown in MO lead to ongoing public demonstrations ... while the police killing of Miriam Carey in DC resulted in applause on the floor of the US Congress and then just disappeared from the national memory?

Is it because, as some believe, Miriam's child was fathered by Obama ad-Dajjal or Eric Holder, and the MSM wrongly painted her as mentally ill to help make the "problem" go away?
Would we feel less outraged about the killing of Michael Brown if the MSM were telling us that he was "mentally ill"?
Something is definitely wrong here.
