The UN is begging for killer robots to be outlawed before it's too late:

I think it's already too late. The research for autonomous military robots has been heavily funded by the US, Israel, and a host of both legal and questionable organizations that want to use this technology. None of these entities are controlled by We The People, and most of them are working for madmen (and women).
Robot wars against humans are going to happen, and they will be very ugly.
