But the UN is telling people that humans are destroying the planet:
TPTB realize the human population (or at least its rate of consumption) must be reduced by at least half. Since most nations are resisting efforts to do such a thing, TPTB appear to have banded together in an effort to force a fairly rapid decrease in global economic activity, especially in the area of resource consumption. Cutting us off from cheap energy and affordable food is quite easy for them to do, using "Putin's war" as an excuse.
So the world does not "need" Russian oil at all. It needs the consumption of oil to go to zero, the production of food to be reduced to a tightly controlled minimum, and the uptake of lethal "vaccines" and other pharma products to become universal.
The end of the Sixth Great Extinction begins with the culling of humanity. Start looking at world events through that lens and you'll finally "get" what's going on in the world.
