This Ain't Your Daddy's Ebola

Here is a timely report which outlines the differences between the Ebola virus seen in the current epidemic and the ones seen in previous outbreaks. Today's virus appears to be "a very different bug":

Update: According to this report by Paul Craig Roberts, the US failed to provide assurances to Germany that the Ebola virus would not be weaponized. That sure looks suspicious:
