Milley Vs. MacArthur

General Mark Milley has left the office of Chairman of the JCS. Some are happy to see him go:

In my view, he is a very confused man.

According to the US Constitution, the President IS a dictator, at least as far as the military is concerned:

Article 2, Section 2

The President shall be Commander in Chief of the Army and Navy of the United States ...

Those who disobey his orders are insubordinate. Those who pass information to the enemy in time of war commit treason. What part of that does Milley not understand?

If you'll recall, when General of the Army Douglas MacArthur was insubordinate to President Truman and made similar references to the US Constitution, he was relieved of duty and driven out of the military. I would have done the same to Milley. Shame on Trump for not doing it himself.

I agree with those who say that military officers swear an oath to support and defend the Constitution. But those who then turn right around and apparently VIOLATE that oath deserve neither our admiration nor support.

It's not too late to bring Milley up on charges. Unfortunately, there's no one in government who has the balls or the desire to do it.
