Here is a report which claims that Hitler did not commit suicide but instead escaped to somewhere in South America:

Stalin never believed that Hitler was dead.
William Shirer claimed that he saw Hitler alive after the war.
The last book I read on the subject (The Murder of Adolf Hitler) provided forensic evidence that Eva Braun had escaped and was alive after the war.
A lot of people escaped Berlin at the end of the war. Perhaps Hitler did, too. Maybe Project Paperclip picked him up.
By the way, a now deceased relative of mine (my wife's Uncle Jimmy) belonged to the same flying club as did Hanna Reitsch, Hitler's favorite female pilot. I never did learn how or why the two (Jimmy and Hanna) were connected, nor did I ever get the chance to meet her. The world is a small place.
Update: DNA analysis of the "Hitler skull" in Soviet archives proved that it did not belong to Hitler:

Maybe he did get away.
