With the passage of the Jewish Nation-State Law, Israel is now "an establishment of religion".
The US Constitution says this about such an entity:
First Amendment
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; ...
I submit this means the US should neither recognize nor impede Israel. We should have no dealings with them at all.
And we certainly should not send them any more money or weapons.
Or is this to be yet another example of how our constitution no longer means anything?
