I have read that some think the Sony "hack" is an act of war by North Korea which demands some sort of retaliation:

Regardless of who is responsible for the Sony "hack", why is it an "act of war"?
Was the overthrow by the US of Iran's Prime Minister Mohammad Mosaddegh an act of war?
Was the overthrow by the US of Guatemala's President Jacobo Arbenz Guzman an act of war?
Was the overthrow by the US of Chile's President Salvador Allende an act of war?
Was the overthrow by the US of Libya's Prime Minister Muammar al-Gaddafi an act of war?
Were the numerous attempts by the US to murder Cuban President Fidel Castro acts of war?
If they were, then those countries had every legal right to fight back. But note well that most of them did not fight back.
What kind of shit for brains do people in the US have?
And by the way, such "hacks" are only a threat because the clowns who now run our economy decided to put everyone's personal and financial data (except theirs) online where it could easily be stolen. What kind of a stupid idea was that?
