Turning The US Into A Fascist Net-State

Well, the tech giants seem to be continuing their onslaught to take over public opinion ... apparently on behalf of the government, but certainly also for their own benefit:

Tech giants Facebook, Google and Twitter testified to Congress this week about extremist content appearing on their platforms. In an odd admission, the companies promised to suppress extremist ideologies online by distributing their own counter propaganda, choosing to call it “counterspeech.”

And it would make perfect sense if Amazon decided to locate its HQ No. 2 in Washington, DC, a possibility which this report seems to suggest:

Amazon-Apple-Facebook-Google-Twitter and all the rest are like the tentacles of a giant octopus, reaching out to pull us all into its grasp. And since the engine which feeds their rapacious appetite for data and wealth - the Internet - was in fact CREATED by the US government, it seems natural that Washington, DC will remain the head of that octopus.

What is being created here is THE VERY DEFINITION OF FASCISM. And there doesn't seem to be anything we can do to stop it.

Jordan's King Abdullah told US Vice President Mike Pence on Sunday he looked to Washington to rebuild "trust and confidence" in moving toward a two-state solution in Israel after President Donald Trump recognized Jerusalem as the country's capital.

How stupid can these people be? As long as Israel exists there will NEVER be a "two-state solution". Why can't they see this?

By the way, here's MY solution to the crisis. It's one the Democratic Party is trying over here:

• open Israel's borders, and let anyone who wants to come in and take up residence;
• give all the new immigrants the right to vote as soon as they arrive; and
• then, when they become a majority they can vote all of the Israelis out of office.

Maybe then things can quiet down.

Yes, I'm joking. Israel never was nor ever shall be a "democracy", especially not where non-Jews are concerned.

Did Obama ad-Dajjal cause this, or merely help to reveal it? Whatever the case, the first "black" president does not appear to have helped African-Americans (or Africans, either).

Turkey Invading Kurdistan

Turkish troops continue to mass at the Syrian border Friday, with artillery fire from their positions pounding Kurdish YPG forces in the Syrian Afrin District, and Turkish DM Nurettin Canikli saying this is the “de facto start” of a full-scale Syrian invasion of Kurdish territory.

Turkish officials have threatened this invasion off and on for months, and earlier this week said it was imminent. Canikli says now there is “no turning back” and that the invasion is in progress.

Turkey has long presented the Kurdish YPG as “terrorists,” and insisted they will not allow them to retain territory west of the Euphrates River. To this end, President Erdogan says Turkey will attack Afrin first, then Manbij.

Other Turkish officials, however, say they consider it unacceptable for the YPG to retain any territory near the Turkish border at all, which means nearly all of their territory is at risk from this ongoing operation.

I have never understood Turkey's hatred of the Kurds, but it is real.

This invasion may pit Turkey against US-supported terrorists. Way to go, Donald !!!

But maybe this is a good thing. I don't think Turkey will be the push-over that Iraq was. The loser in this war may be taught a hard lesson, and it would be nice if that lesson led to a cool down of what has been happening for decades in the Middle East.
