Whether or not Trump wins the 2016 election, his "make America great again" concept is dead on arrival.
Why? Because the banks and corporations don't want us to be "great again".
Evidence of this is everywhere. Here is but one example:
When a Chinese home-appliance company announced a plan in May to become the largest shareholder in one of Germany’s most advanced robot manufacturers, the backlash was immediate.
German politicians and European officials denounced Midea Group Co.’s offer for Frankfurt-listed Kuka AG, whose robotic arms assemble Airbus jets and Audi sedans. In a rare public appeal for alternative acquirers, Germany’s economy minister argued that Kuka’s automation technology needed to stay out of Chinese hands.
And yet in two months, Midea pulled it off. Thanks to a combination of political courtship, guarantees on jobs and security, and support from influential customers like Daimler AG Chief Executive Officer Dieter Zetsche, Midea overcame knee-jerk opposition to the deal. By July the appliance maker had secured an 86 percent stake, valuing Kuka at 4.6 billion euros ($5 billion).
The experience showed how some Chinese firms are learning to soothe misgivings about the country’s record $207 billion overseas buying spree. While Sinophobia isn’t yet a thing of the past and practices among Chinese buyers vary widely, merger-and-acquisition professionals say a new generation of savvy dealmakers is starting to emerge from the world’s second-largest economy.

As they say, money talks and bullshit walks. When the Chinese (or anyone else with big money) comes to the table, "outdated" concepts like patriotism, national security, and self-sufficiency are thrown out the window. It's the same in the US as it is in the EU.
Banks and corporations will continue to rule the world, and nothing Trump or anyone else can do will stop them. They're far more powerful than nation states now, and ultimately they are going to get what they want - global dominion.
How long until the entire world is run by just one giant, evil corporation?
You probably learned in high school that monopolies are bad for consumers; they eliminate the field of competition in the marketplace, leaving people with fewer options and higher prices. Mega-mergers in the food and energy markets are allowing a handful of corporations to dominate market sectors. Their market dominance means that when it comes to influencing public policy, politically powerful companies call the shots. As Elizabeth Warren said in a speech recently, competition is dying -- and the accompanying consolidation in sector after sector is a threat to our democracy.
Beyond the corporate quest for market dominance, there is another reason these mergers keep coming at everyone else's expense: the deals make big money for the powerful banks that wield enormous power over our democracy. One such bank is Credit Suisse.
Here are the three most valuable mergers happening this year: U.S.-based Monsanto is being bought by German corporation Bayer for $64.5 billion; ChemChina is acquiring Swiss seed and pesticide company Syngenta for $46.7 billion; and the Canadian pipeline company Enbridge is attempting to purchase Houston-based Spectra for $43.1 billion.
There is one thing these deals in the works have in common: they are all being advised by Credit Suisse. And that consultation comes at a hefty price: Enbridge and Spectra are expected to pay banks nearly $100 million in advisory fees alone. For the Monsanto-Bayer merger, fees could top $200 million.

Note well that both Elizabeth Warren AND Donald Trump have said such mergers are a threat to our democracy. You can expect many more such mega-mergers after TPP, TTIP, TISA, and similar "trade deals" conquer the Western world.

I think US animosity towards the Russians is due to three things:
(1) They are white;
(2) They are Christian; and
(3) They don't take orders from anybody, especially Yankee dogs.
We screwed them in World War Two, and they are not about to forget it.

What is not mentioned is the role property values play in this trend.
In another life I spent a couple of years in Europe. Many of the people I knew could not afford to buy a home, even ones who were employed at well-paying jobs. Property and houses were out of reach, and their best chance at ownership came through inheritance of their parent's home.
By the way, extended families living in the same home is a cultural norm in some countries. The report also does not take that into consideration.
Bottom line, although Greece obviously is suffering from the current financial crisis, I'm not sure the overall EU picture really has changed.

I have only heard Trump make ONE possibly unconstitutional suggestion - that we no longer consider "anchor babies" to be citizens of the US. And frankly this issue boils down to how to interpret the US Constitution. The relevant clause reads as follows:
14th Amendment
1: All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside. No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.
"Subject to the jurisdiction thereof" is the key phrase. One way to interpret this (which I believe to be the correct way) is to say that a non-citizen mother and her baby are subject to the jurisdiction of her home country. Therefore her baby will not automatically be a citizen, but is eligible to become naturalized following the rules established by Congress in accordance with our Constitution:
Article I, Section 8
4: [The Congress shall have Power] To establish an uniform Rule of Naturalization
It is Obama ad-Dajjal and Hillary who have been and who intend to disregard our Constitution. He ignores our laws, rules by executive decree, and wages undeclared wars. We can expect Hillary to do the same, as well as scheming to take away our guns and flood our land with immigrants from all over the world.
So, if you want a lawless President elect Hillary. If you want someone who will follow our laws and our Constitution, elect Trump. It couldn't be more simple than that.
And all the baloney about racism and white supremacy is pure BS. Those who make such claims intend to destroy our nation state and replace it with their concept of a market state with open borders. To do so in the way it appears they intend to do would be the ULTIMATE flagrant disregard for the US Constitution.
