Our brutal overlords appear willing to go down dead end roads until they're blue in the face. Here are two examples:
1. The pandemic
Even though the "vaccines" do not prevent spread of the disease, they're going to force everyone to get vaccinated. And when all the vaccines "break through", they'll force boosters on us, too.
Here's a good example - Southwest Airlines will force its pilots and other employees to get vaxxed. This clip reveals one of the underlying lies in their decision:
Dallas-based Southwest Airlines will ignore a Texas Executive Order prohibiting any entity from imposing Covid-19 vaccine mandates on employees or customers.
Instead, the beleaguered airline will comply with a yet-to-be issued Biden federal mandate which requires that government employees and contractors get vaccinated, according to CEO Gary Kelly in a Tuesday interview with CNBC.

Did you get that? SWA will ignore an existing, probably legal executive order to follow a "yet-to-be" issued, probably illegal and unconstitutional mandate. That is government by corporate fiat and executive threat, NOT government of, by, and for the People.
2. The energy transition
There is a growing body of evidence that the so-called energy transition will be MUCH more difficult and painful than most people think. Here is a sampling of reports which confirm that assertion:

The US government, with nearly unlimited resources, could not convert Afghanistan to anything even approaching a modern state. In fact, they failed miserably. US corporations can no longer successfully build even a single nuclear power plant and bring it online. How is either sector (public or private) possibly going to convert our ENTIRE power grid in the coming decades, if ever?
Whether or not these two challenges (pandemic and climate change) are related, the response of TPTB to the realities they face in both is startling - they are ignoring those realities and clinging to agenda which can only be called wishful thinking and which border on delusion.
As always, the real world will prevail, and even if they hold their breath until they're blue in the face, none of this will turn out the way they advertise it. And instead of ever realizing their mistakes and doing something else, they seem willing to drag us all into a dystopian nightmare of failure and denial regardless of the outcome.
And NO, I'm not being unrealistic. I've witnessed institutional failure before, and lately that's ALL "our" institutions have delivered.
