Fubar = Fucked Up Beyond All Recognition
America raped and bludgeoned half a dozen countries that never harmed it while financing two that injured it materially. That monumental destruction, and the funneling of billions to whore states Israel and Saudi Arabia (much of it earmarked for death merchants Northrop Grumman, Lockheed Martin, Raytheon, General Dynamics, and Boeing) gorged the War Machine at the price of tens of thousands of young American’s lives, bodies, and sanity. Americans mostly don’t care, of course, but that, too, is a fubar indicator.

We really don't seem to know what is good for We the People and what is not. If we do, we sure have a strange way of expressing it.
Considering the trajectory we are on, 2020 should be an interesting year.
And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams. (Acts 2:17)

Are You Ready For War With Russia ???
The danger of war with Russia is not over yet, is it? Here's why:
With each passing day of the impeachment crisis, the distance between the official reasons for the conflict in Washington and the real reasons grows wider.
It has become increasingly clear that the central issue is not Trump’s attempt to “solicit interference from a foreign country” by “pressuring a foreign country to investigate one of the president’s main domestic political rivals,” as alleged in the whistleblower complaint that triggered the impeachment inquiry.
Rather, the conflict raging within the state centers on Trump’s decision to temporarily delay a massive weapons shipment to Ukraine.
The ferocity with which the entire US national security apparatus responded to the delay raises the question: Is there a timetable for using these weapons in combat to fight a war against Russia?

The Impact Of Roundup And GMO Crops
Here is an eyewitness report claiming significant environmental damage caused by the use of Roundup and the planting of GMO crops:

If Nathan is right, we're screwed.
Do we really need to grow our food this way? Some think not:

We must stop corporations (the living dead) from killing the rest of us. Anyone have a good idea where we can start?

Killing Assange
Julian Assange is dying in custody while the whole world watches and does nothing:

This reminds me of what we did to Slobodan Milošević. He died while in custody at The Hague, and it sure seems like Assange will suffer a similar fate.
Ironic, wouldn't you say, that MSM talking heads enjoy the high life for telling us lies, while one of the few people in the world who told us the truth will die for doing so?

Has Google Become "Evil Corp" ???
Here is a lengthy discussion of Google's transformation into something company veterans call "unrecognizable":
https://www.cnbc.com/2019/12/31/google-veterans-the-company-has-become-unrecognizable.html
Is this just a Google problem, or is it something inherent to all the tech titans? After all, how many of you still believe Amazon, Facebook, etc. HAVEN'T gone over to the dark side?

China Is Taking Over Africa
Here is a report about China's takeover of the African continent:
https://www.infowars.com/the-takeover-china-is-building-enormous-self-sustaining-chinese-cities-all-over-the-african-continent/
What's the US response? Build more military bases and use more drones in a futile attempt to stop "affiliates of al-Qaeda" (i.e., anyone who believes African belongs to the Africans):
https://theintercept.com/2018/12/01/u-s-military-says-it-has-a-light-footprint-in-africa-these-documents-show-a-vast-network-of-bases/
When assessing this situation, we need to keep two things in mind:
1. The history of what Europeans and the USA did to Africa (starting with the slave trade), and
2. The basic premise behind US-sponsored "development" as it was revealed by John Perkins in his book Confessions of an Economic Hit Man.
Although the above Infowars report portrays China as a horrible boogeyman, they're no worse than anyone else who has plundered Africa. In fact, if you compare them to people like King Leopold II of Belgium, they're downright benign.

Quō Vādis Nuclear Power ???
Now here is an interesting contrast:
a. Germany wants to shut down all its nuclear power plants by 2022:
https://oilprice.com/Alternative-Energy/Nuclear-Power/Germany-Aims-To-Close-All-Nuclear-Plants-By-2022.html
b. The US, on the other hand, is making it possible for our nuclear plants to operate for 80 years - twice their original planned lifespan:
https://www.utilitydive.com/news/fpls-turkey-point-first-us-nuclear-plant-to-get-license-out-to-80-years/568593/
As a 25 year veteran of the nuclear industry, I can attest to two things:
1. It is feasible, with the proper inspections and maintenance, to extend the life of a nuclear plant. Typically the reactor vessel is the limiting component, and as long as it stays intact things should be fine.
2. However, plant operators and managers do EXTREMELY dumb things. Knowing this I find it hard to believe we haven't had more nuclear accidents.
Whether or not we continue to operate nuclear plants, the US needs a plan for what to do with spent fuel and high level nuclear waste. We don't really have one, and that fact will continue to bite us in the ass for eons to come.
