Civil War In Austin ???

According to this report, Austin TX is the center of the red state - blue city war:

I'm a resident of the Austin metro area, and I have the following observations:

1. To date, this has been mostly a war of words; and
2. This is NOT the equivalent of the war against slavery.

Why Does Obama Hate The US ???

While most Americans are gathering with family and community this weekend to celebrate the most exceptional country in the history of the world, Mr. Hope and Change is halfway around the world talking doom and gloom - and criticizing his successor.

Barack Obama visited Indonesia this weekend, and in a series of appearances, attacked love of country and the policies of Donald Trump.

Going Backward In Israel

From the mid-1800s, photographs of Jews praying together at the Western Wall became common on the walls of houses across the Western world. Today, a rich collection is found in Washington’s Library of Congress digital archives, in which a jumble of Sephardic and Ashkenazi Jews, men and women, are depicted in prayer at what has been considered one of Judaism’s holiest sites for the past two millennia.

Mixed prayer, with men and women praying together, appears to be the norm - or at least a viable option - in these archival images, aside from High Holy Day crushes, in which women either were not in attendance, or prayed off to the side.

In fact, the idea of partitioning prayer between men and women at the Western Wall is relatively modern, and due to a variety of sociological and political constraints was only put into practice after the unification of Jerusalem following the Six Day War in 1967. However, for centuries, the wall has had central importance as an anchor of Jewish worship and culture.

First of all, the 1967 war was a war of aggression, something forbidden under international law. Never forget that.

Second, it should be clear that when Israel achieves control of whatever territories they crave, they are likely to erect a Biblical state which will enforce some of the same "outrages" which we associate with ISIS. Enforcing the separation of men and women will be one of them.

One of the pictures below shows ultra-orthodox Jewish women, the other shows Muslim women. Can you tell which is which?

The struggle between Muslims and Jews is basically an argument between peoples with a common background over lands formerly occupied by some of their ancestors.

Why are we even involved? Let them decide the outcome themselves.

Free Trade, War, And Debt

Free trade, debt and war are all part of the same package, each feeding off the other. They are – each of them – rackets in their own right and they are all symptoms of the same problem. That problem has to do with the fact that our government  – along with the rest of the world  – has entirely forgotten the basic concept of how a national economy actually “earns” its way to prosperity.

The American colonists understood this in a very visceral way.  For example, Benjamin Franklin once remarked that there are only three ways a nation can become wealthy. (1) It can engage in war and war profiteering. (2) It can reap unearned profits through exploitation of wage and price differentials, under cover of “free” trade. OR (3) It can create new, earned wealth through a balanced domestic exchange economy.

Franklin, like the other colonists, knew whereof he spoke, having witnessed firsthand the shenanigans of the British East India Company, which not only began using slave labor for its operations by the 1620’s but which required England to continually bail it out, heaping extra debt on the English people and forcing England to look for tax revenue from her increasingly disgruntled American colonies.

But bailing out the East India Company was not the real reason why England was in debt. That state of affairs must be attributed to the fact that England had, in 1666, relinquished her prerogative to issue the nation’s money – a prerogative sanctified by the world famous Mix’t Moneys case of 1604. Instead of maintaining that prerogative for the benefit of her people, England was persuaded, through bribery, intrigue and various forms of subterfuge to surrender that prerogative over to private hands – those hands being those of the British East India company, through the Mint Act of 1666.

Germany Helps Israel Threaten The World

Germany will be selling more nuclear weapon capable submarines to Israel. You can read about it here:

In case you were not aware, the nuclear weapons these subs are expected to carry may be targeted at the US, UK, Russia, and anyone else who might get in Israel's way.

Why isn't Israel's illegal nuclear weapons program subject to international condemnation? Is it because idiot Americans "stand with Israel"?

How and why can you "stand with" someone who is pointing a gun at your head?

By the way, Thyssen and Krupp were two of the companies which armed Adolf Hitler's war machine. Ironic, no?
