A military veteran was detained but not charged by Valdosta State University police after she approached a group of protesters on campus who were walking on an American flag and took it from them.
Michelle Manhart, an Air Force veteran, said she was not planning to take the flag from the group, but she had heard about the group’s recent campus demonstrations and wanted to take action.
“I did not want anything like this, but I got a call from a student who told me that the flag was on the ground, and they were walking on it,” said Manhart. “I was just going over there to pick up the flag off the ground. I don’t know what their cause is, but I went to pick it up because it doesn’t deserve to be on the ground.”
Manhart said she was taken into custody by VSU police officers who then returned the flag to the demonstrators. She admitted to The Valdosta Daily Times that she resisted arrest after seeing the flag being returned.
The group reportedly declined to press charges against Manhart. The officers attempting to detain her also declined to press charges for resisting.
Instead, Manhart was given a criminal trespass warning which effectively bans her from any university activity, including graduation and football games, said Andy Clark, vice president for enrollment, marketing and communications.

Clearly, many US citizens no longer respect the sacrifices of our military veterans.
What "charges" could this group have levied against her? Stealing the flag they were desecrating? That's a crime?

Is Something BIG On Our Horizon ???
You may have already seen this speculation about what the elites have been doing:
What in the world are the elite up to? In recent days, we have learned that the New York Fed is moving a lot of operations to Chicago because of concerns about what a “natural disaster” could do, the federal government is buying 62 million rounds of ammunition commonly used in AR-15 semi-automatic rifles for “training” purposes, and NORAD is moving back into Cheyenne Mountain because it is “EMP-hardened”. In addition, government authorities have scheduled a whole host of unusual “training exercises” all over the nation. So are the elite doing all of this in order to prepare for something really BIG, or should we just chalk up all of this strange activity to rampant government paranoia?

There may or not be something "big" in the wind. But the signs are clearly there that the powers that be are quite zealous to hold on to their power, even as "their" world is crumbling down around them.
Moving to Chicago? NYC is too damn expensive.
More ammo? There are now a lot more of us to shoot, so that makes sense.
Moving NORAD? They were idiots to leave Cheyenne Mountain in the first place. Nukes and other EMP sources will always be a threat.
But I think the reasonable mind should pay attention to what Dr. Ron Paul has been saying - we are in a currency war and perhaps on the brink of a financial collapse. And the consequences of those could be grave:

Andrew Jackson's Bank War

There are people who have made up quotes attributed to Jefferson that are totally false. The only real quote of Jefferson regarding banks come from a letter Jefferson wrote to John Taylor in 1816: “And I sincerely believe, with you, that banking establishments are more dangerous than standing armies; and that the principle of spending money to be paid by posterity, under the name of funding, is but swindling futurity on a large scale.”

At the same time, roughly double that number are dying from prescription opioid painkillers, which are molecularly similar. Heroin has become the fallback dope when an addict can’t afford, or find, pills. Total overdose deaths, most often from pills and heroin, now surpass traffic fatalities.
If these deaths are the measure, we are arguably in the middle of our worst drug plague ever, apart from cigarettes and alcohol.
And yet this is also our quietest drug plague. Strikingly little public violence accompanies it. This has muted public outrage. Meanwhile, the victims — mostly white, well-off and often young — are mourned in silence, because their parents are loath to talk publicly about how a cheerleader daughter hooked for dope, or their once-star athlete son overdosed in a fast-food restaurant bathroom.

ISIS/ISIL apparently is conducting mass killings of Ethiopian Christians in Libya:
