Our uncaring Congress
Only 5 members of Congress had the time or cared enough to listen in person to the survivors of US drone attacks:

No remorse, no compassion, no letup. Just more spying, more drone attacks, more killing, more suffering ... and for what purpose?
The importation of people and illegal drugs across our southern borders has devastated the US, but the government really has not done a damn thing except to tolerate and at times promote it. So why bother to spend so much money to kill people half way across the world who are no threat to us at all?
They don't know why, you don't know why, and I don't think Obama ad-Dajjal knows why. It's just killing for the sake of killing and profits for the ruling class.

Throughout the "developed world", the extractive model reigns supreme. But in the "undeveloped" or "developing" countries, people are fighting to stop it:

Economics lesson for the day
Keynesian stimulus policy works when the jobs from which people have been laid off still exist. By boosting aggregate demand for goods and services, the stimulus puts people back to work. But if the jobs have been moved offshore and the factories closed, the jobs no longer exist. No stimulus policy can put the unemployed into jobs that no longer exist.
