Les Misérables

We seem to have turned back the clock to 1862.

The financial titans who are managing the Great Taking openly boast about their plans which will turn us all into their slaves:

https://thewinepress.substack.com/p/tokenization-blackrocks-larry-fink

Meanwhile, average jobless Americans who shoplift to feed their families are somehow the "crazy" criminals who must be stopped:

https://youtu.be/RwXdbwauDc4

Like I said before, I don't support the "No Kings" baloney because it's not going after the right people. Trump is not the main problem, bankers and corporate bigwigs are. And considering their complete lack of compassion and shame, things are only going to get worse.

Violence Nation

You may recall this admission made by Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. in his 1967 address Beyond Vietnam - A Time To Break Silence:

"I knew that I could never again raise my voice against the violence of the oppressed in the ghettos without having first spoken clearly to the greatest purveyor of violence in the world today -- my own government. For the sake of those boys, for the sake of this government, for the sake of the hundreds of thousands trembling under our violence, I cannot be silent."

Not only has nothing changed for the better since then, now we actually have a "Department of War" whose civilian leader literally wants to make the Pentagon a global arms bazaar:

https://responsiblestatecraft.org/hegseth-pentagon-acquisitions/

If the United States ever was a force for good in the world, we're not any more. And "our" Congress appears to be on board for just about anything the President wants to do.

Re: No Kings Protests

FYI - The state of emergency which was declared on September 11, 2001 is still in effect, having been renewed annually since it was enacted.

To blame Trump for what is now happening is a bit ridiculous, since Congress has had plenty of opportunities to stop him and his predecessors. At least he's doing out in the open what they all did in secret.

For this reason, I don't support the "No Kings" protests.

I would, however, support "No King But Jesus". Send me the link if you know where it is.

Subs Beware !!!

We go up, we go down, we don't even screw around (an old submarine ditty).

You may have seen this discussion of submarine-related threats made by President Trump and assorted Russians leaders:

https://www.zerohedge.com/geopolitical/medvedev-again-trolls-trump-us-submarines-black-cat-dark-room

Here is another report which is potentially more significant:

https://www.techinasia.com/news/chinese-scientists-ai-cut-submarine-survival-5

If what the Chinese claim is accurate, this would be a serious threat to our most important nuclear weapons capable platform.

Submariners, beware. They're comin' to git ya.

Are We Getting Fooled Again ???

The current "shutdown" and other shenanigans going on in DC remind me of something which happened in the early days of our republic:

The United States Constitutional Convention was a gathering of delegates from 12 states in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, from May 25 to September 17, 1787, to address the weaknesses of the Articles of Confederation.

Presided over by George Washington, the convention ultimately discarded the Articles and drafted the U.S. Constitution, establishing a stronger federal government with a system of checks and balances. Key compromises, such as the Great Compromise (or Connecticut Compromise), resolved disputes over state representation, leading to the creation of the House of Representatives and the Senate.

Purpose and Context

Weak Government: The existing government under the Articles of Confederation was too weak to effectively govern the new nation, leading to issues like economic instability and unrest, such as Shays' Rebellion.

Revision vs. New Government: While initially called to revise the Articles, many delegates, including James Madison and Alexander Hamilton, recognized the need for a completely new framework for government.

(h/t Google AI)

Sound familiar? Today's quandary also reminds me of these lyrics from the song "Won't Get Fooled Again" by The Who:

We'll be fighting in the streets

With our children at our feet

And the morals that they worship will be gone

And the men who spurred us on

Sit in judgement of all wrong

They decide and the shotgun sings the song

I'll tip my hat to the new Constitution

Take a bow for the new revolution

$ $ $ $ $ $ $ $

Don't be surprised if the new revolution / second civil war predicted by so many ultimately results in the US Constitution getting thrown in the trash by the New Founders of the Untied States of America. Any new constitution they intend to write will (in my opinion) be an absolute abortion (no pun intended).

And keep these song lyrics in mind, too:

Meet the new boss

Same as the old boss

If you think "King Trump" is bad, wait until you see his replacement.

From NIMBY To PIMBY ???

Following the nuclear accident at Three Mile Island in 1979, the US more or less gave up on building new nuclear power plants. I think it's fair to say that no one wanted one in their backyard (NIMBY).

But now, for some reason, the powers that be are pushing the idea that everyone should want a nuke or two in their neighborhood (Please In My BackYard, or PIMBY):

https://studyfinds.org/nuclear-backyard-tiny-reactors-could-power-towns-campuses/

I worked for military, commercial, and government entities in the nuclear field for 25+ years and another 10 years in a state environmental agency, and trust me when I say the concept discussed in the above report is one of the worst ideas I have ever heard. I say this for multiple reasons, including but not limited to the following:

  • Substituting an increase in nuclear waste for a decrease in so-called greenhouse gases is NOT a good trade-off - CO2 feeds life, while nuclear waste remains deadly, essentially forever;
  • It will be extremely difficult to properly staff and monitor all these mini-nukes, and the possibility of having computers run them has always been anathema in the US (for good reason); and
  • Each one would represent a serious security and environmental risk, and considering the growing number of would-be terrorists and nut jobs in our nation, the danger of such risks is only going to increase.

I'm sticking with the conventional wisdom (NIMBY). Had you seen what I have inside this industry, I think you would too.

By the way, all those radioactive shrimp now being removed from your store shelves probably got their Ce-137 from a nuclear power plant somewhere (Fukushima?). They are a warning of possible worse things to come, and I strongly recommend we heed that warning.

The Latest EU Fantasy

According to this report, the EU is "openly" considering space mining:

To secure its long-term supply of raw materials, Brussels wants to extract strategically important minerals from the moon. The impetus comes from a recent report by the EU Commission in light of growing dependence on third countries. (Google translation)

Source - https://deutsche-wirtschafts-nachrichten.de/716984/space-mining-die-eu-will-seltene-mineralien-vom-mond-holen

Dear EU, this makes about as much sense as not wanting to find out who really destroyed the Nord Stream pipelines.

You have neither the equipment nor the expertise for large scale space mining. Perhaps Elon Musk could help you overcome these obstacles.

Anyway, good luck. You'll need it.

Who Killed Charlie ???

This essay presents several disturbing observations and questions about political assassinations and terror attacks in the US:

https://www.unz.com/runz/israel-charlie-kirk-and-the-911-attacks/

The official stories about these events are riddled with holes and inconsistencies. They really make me wonder just who the hell is behind them and what their motives were.

No disrespect intended, but Charlie and his family deserve better than this.

In fact, we all do.

Radioactive Shrimp ???

Hey, have you seen this warning?

https://www.azerbaycan24.com/en/nuclear-shrimp-warning-issued-in-us/

All the versions of it I have seen do NOT speculate about the location of the source of the Ce-137, which most likely is a nuclear power plant (or two).

There are no nuclear power plants in Indonesia. There is, however, a system of currents known as the Indonesian throughflow which could be bringing the waters off the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station down to the island nation.

As you may know, the Fukushima accident in 2011 damaged several of the reactors there, and the melted fuel which escaped into the earth (leakage of which has made it into the ocean) contains LOTS of Ce-137.

I read one report which mentioned the isotope can be used to irradiate food for sterilization purposes, but that is done with sealed sources which are not likely to contaminate the food.

Whatever the case, keep all this in mind when your country starts to build dozens (hundreds?) of "advanced" reactors willy-nilly all over the place to power the data centers which will enable the firing of most workers in nearly all occupations around the world. There might be more radioactive food in our future.

Is It All About Water ???

Incredible things are happening in the Middle East, but not all the motivations for them may be obvious. The following reports may contain some clues -

(1) Everyone everywhere is running out of water:

https://scheerpost.com/2025/07/26/global-water-supplies-threatened-by-overmining-of-aquifers-new-study/

(2) Iran is in particularly bad shape:

https://www.cnn.com/2025/07/31/climate/tehran-iran-water-crisis-day-zero

(3) Cyprus now appears to be on the list of territories coveted by Israel:

https://www.globalresearch.ca/israel-destroyed-palestine-syria-set-sights-cyprus/5896540

(4) Perhaps this older report can shed some light on the situation:

https://www.hidropolitikakademi.org/en/article/22752/israel-plans-water-pipeline-from-turkey

It may seem odd that Turkey (an Islamic country) would be willing to sell the waters of the Tigris and Euphrates Rivers to Israel (the homeland for the Jewish people), but the added benefit of seeing Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, Palestine, Syria, etc. dying of thirst must be too hard to resist.

Just living out their promise as a "light unto the nations", I guess.

The Perils Of Digital ID

Dr. Michael Yeadon has issued a fresh warning about digital ID, and you can read it here:

https://x.com/newstart_2024/status/1951396968078496236

I think these words of his are particularly important:

Once adopted, governments & institutions will recognize you only through this system. You cease to exist as a person. You become a QR code — an address to resources that can be edited, restricted, or revoked at will.

They remind me of the concept of Personocratia. You can read about it here:

https://www.personocratia.com/en/

This graphic from the website summarizes the big picture of the concept:

The founder of Personocratia (Ghis) helped me understand what has been going on: the system created by TPTB for some time has only recognized the artificial constructs they created to identify and control us. Digital ID takes that trend to the next level, and as Dr. Yeadon suggests we soon no longer will be recognized as living beings ... just a number or a symbol, similar to what the Nazis did when they tattooed prisoners in their WWII death camps.

Unfortunately Ghis died on May 4 of this year, and her deep understanding of the underlying issues and her potential for helping us resist what TPTB are doing to us have been lost ... perhaps forever.

Please read what she left behind on her website before it disappears down the memory hole. It may sound goofy at first, but it's one of the best explanations I have read of the spiritual aspect of some major changes taking place in today's world.

We are human beings, not a QR code. What sort of person would want to take that away from us?

Will AI Become God ???

Many are now asking whether Artificial Intelligence (AI) will become God. The answers I've seen to this question appear to ignore what the Bible has to say about this subject.

Check out these verses from Chapter 3 of Genesis (KJV):

22 And the Lord God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever:

23 Therefore the Lord God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken.

These words suggest there are two primary characteristics of deity:

  1. possessing the knowledge of good and evil, and
  2. being immortal.

Since AI is capable of having both, by this definition it will become God (if that is what He meant by "one of us").

AI Is Wrecking Our Economy

Hopefully you've heard about this:

https://www.zerohedge.com/technology/brace-soaring-electricity-bills-biggest-us-power-grid-sets-power-costs-record-high-feed#google_vignette

I'm especially concerned because I get my power from PJM Interconnect, and my current aggregation rate expires the end of December.

Here's a thought - if, as we're being told, winning the AI race is a national security imperative then why doesn't the US government pay to run all these data centers?

Should the feds not have the cash to do so, I suggest they divert the money we're currently wasting on killing people in Gaza and Ukraine. As far as I'm concerned, neither of those two conflicts does ANYTHING to protect our nation.

What do YOU think?

Go To Gaza

Just saw this and I think it's a great idea:

https://www.currentaffairs.org/news/send-the-pope-to-gaza

Instead of doing NOTHING, leaders of the US, UK, and EU also should go there:

https://abcnews.go.com/International/mass-starvation-looms-gaza-european-leaders-hold-emergency/story?id=124048464

While there, they should hold a news conference to explain why ANYTHING about conflicts in the Middle East justifies starving babies, shooting children, bombing hospitals and refugee camps, etc.

Some of us really want to know.

Peace ??? Nope !!!

Here are some great ideas from Professor Jeffrey D. Sachs:

https://original.antiwar.com/jeffrey_sachs/2025/07/02/the-time-has-arrived-for-a-comprehensive-middle-east-peace/

Sadly, I don't think either Israel or the US is interested. They'd rather make a desert and call it peace.

Anyone out there vote for Trump? Didn't he promise to stop the wars? Did he change his mind, or was he lying all along?

Thoughts For July 5, 2025

Now that the Independence Day festivities are over, here are two worthwhile essays from people I respect:

(1) From former Congressman Dennis J. Kucinich

https://scheerpost.com/2025/07/01/july-4-2025-the-betrayal-of-the-declaration-of-independence-and-a-call-for-renewal/

(2) From Judge Andrew P. Napolitano

https://original.antiwar.com/andrew-p-napolitano/2025/07/03/independence-day-2025/

We're no longer the scrappy little republic which challenged and defeated the greatest power on earth.

We're now the greatest power on earth (or so we think), and we continually go abroad in search of monsters to destroy.

My, how things have changed.

Business, Not War ???

Dr. Paul Craig Roberts recently made the following suggestion:

Trump seems to be saying that instead of war let’s go into business together. This plan requires the Zionists to give up their agenda for Israeli hegemony over the Middle East. Can the Zionists help to save the world from war?

Source - https://www.paulcraigroberts.org/2025/06/29/president-trump-seize-your-opportunity-to-be-the-greatest-american-president-in-history/

No Paul, they cannot. "Israeli hegemony over the Middle East", a.k.a. Greater Israel, is the goal here, and knowing that G-d is on their side I believe they will do anything necessary to achieve it, including world war.

Anyone who thinks otherwise has not been paying attention.

Understanding Slavespeak

Here are some definitions/explanations you may find useful:

https://brownstone.org/articles/a-translation-guide-to-progressive-slavespeak/

War is Peace

Freedom is Slavery

Ignorance is Strength

A republic, madam, if you can keep it

The New Long War

Here is an assessment of our possible future by COL Douglas Macgregor:

https://x.com/DougAMacgregor/status/1939567829742756105

Sounds pretty bleak, but it also doesn't sound much like what Trump promised during the 2024 campaign.

We're not ready for AI, and we're certainly not ready for the future. This promises to be a bumpy ride.

Best wishes to all !!!

New York's Latest Absurdity

The governor of New York wants someone to build a nuclear power plant for her and her constituents:

https://www.governor.ny.gov/news/governor-hochul-directs-new-york-power-authority-develop-zero-emission-advanced-nuclear-energy

Dear Kathy - GE built you one at Shoreham, or at least they tried to. It was completed and ready to operate, but it was decommissioned because many of the people on Long Island didn't want it (at least that's the story we were told back then).

I worked at Shoreham for a while as an employee of GE. I can say this from personal experience: the plant should have cost around $250 million or so, but it eventually cost $6 BILLION - money which was totally wasted when the plant was scrapped.

Unless and until you can explain what really happened at Shoreham AND take measures to make sure it doesn't happen again anywhere else in your state, there is NO WAY you should even be thinking about building another nuke, even if it would be of "advanced design" (whatever that means).

Best wishes to you and the people of your beautiful state.
