The Israeli military has increasingly opted to deploy an unmanned version of Caterpillar’s D9 bulldozers to a number of battlefields. The remotely operated systems allows the IDF to flatten areas without risking additional troops.

The longer such conflicts go on, the more they look like scenes from The Terminator.
At least things have not yet crossed what I believe to be one of the ultimate thresholds of robotic warfare:

But I would not be surprised if this were to happen sometime in the near future, especially if the Russia-Ukraine war keeps heating up.
