I have a few things to add:
1. I find it strange the author fails to mention the book The Great Zapruder Film Hoax. It is worth reading if you haven't already done so, as it points out several additional proofs the film was altered.
2. The Nix film shows the presidential limo slowing down, which is what many witnesses recall. The Zapruder film does NOT show such a slowdown. The only reason I can think of for the driver hitting the brakes was someone shooting at the limo from in front of the car (e.g., from the "grassy knoll").
3. A film processor named Homer McMahon, who was present during the handling of the original unsplit Zapruder film (or what may have been a first generation copy of it), says the film showed "about 8 shots; [from] 3 different directions, at least".
Not only was the publicized Zapruder film a hoax, but Oswald wasn't even one of the shooters. You can find proof of that claim here:

JFK was murdered by his own government. The only real question is "why", and I think we can see the answer all around us. He was the last president who had a chance to save us from the powers that be, and they snuffed him out to stay in power.
We have no democracy. The US is a murderous mafiocracy hell-bent on enforcing their vision of a New World Order.
